Credibility is built slowly and earned by giving your visitors down to earth, good advice, good information that will help them in making their decision so make that information, as up to date, and as accurate as possible.
In other words, make it relevant, & people will learn to trust you and your site, which will give your site credibility, and by giving your site credibility your site will grow in popularity.

Any online business that has no traffic or visitors is not going to be around for long especially in today's financial climate. So how does one make their online business popular?
Easy: Credibility, Popularity, and Relevancy
As many people are aware there are many avenues to use to market an online business, the list of marketing techniques available to any business is staggering.
Yet; if all of these techniques are available to all online businesses, why is it that only some businesses are successful, while others go to the wall?
That is where popularity comes into it. If your site is popular, then you are going to have lots and lots of "continuous traffic" or visitors which will then translate into lots and lots of sales or profit.
So how does a business become popular apart from having credibility?
Now we all know that owning an online business is not enough to make it successful and the real successful business owners know one thing very well; they know how to market their businesses.
If you can become an expert at marketing then your success is just about assured. The trade off however, is that you will have to learn how to market your business and that may take some time.
As well as Credibility, Popularity, And Relevancy, "Marketing" is a critical part of having a successful internet business.
By marketing your online business with Credibility, Popularity, and Relevancy you will be marketing your business properly, you will also become very popular in the process, because proper marketing, with Credibility, Popularity, and And Relevancy is what brings success- Simple Eh!
Relevancy: Relevancy can simply be defined as "staying on topic" and using some of your god given "Common Sense".
For example, if you are going to put up a web site that sells dog paraphernalia, what is the point of supplying information about cats?
If your aim were to sell harbor cruises by boat, why would you write about aeroplane travel?
Relevancy is simply staying on topic.
Relevancy also means giving your visitors what they want, which is good, solid information, "don't try to sell"
Just simply supply your visitors with good solid relevant information and let them make their own decision.
If the information that you have provided is good, then you will automatically develop credibility, which will make you popular and your visitors will then convert into sales.
You see it is all a part of a process, no one thing on its own will make you a success, but put Credibility, Popularity, And Relevancy all together and wow.
You will not believe the growth your online business can undertake.
